Service Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in servicing and maintaining industrial burners. You will be responsible for ensuring that our clients’ equipment operates efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Installation & Commissioning: Perform installation, commissioning, and start-up services for industrial burners and associated equipment.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot any issues to ensure optimal performance of the burners.
Customer Support: Provide on-site and remote technical support to clients, addressing their queries and resolving any operational issues.
Training: Train client personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of the equipment, ensuring they are fully equipped to handle routine tasks.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including maintenance logs, service reports, and parts used.
Spare Parts Management: Assist in managing the inventory of spare parts and recommend parts for replacement as needed.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all service activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of hands-on experience in servicing industrial burners or similar equipment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills with the ability to resolve issues efficiently.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Willingness to Travel: Ability to travel to client sites as required.
